chanel cc cream

so, bought Chanel cc cream the day I went out with ying baby .

I believe most of the Asian ladies tried bb cream.
but what about cc cream??

that's what people says: CC cream was developed to retain all the skincare benefits of bb cream with added nourishing ingredients and the additional aim to provide more effective skin coverage.
(the 'stronger' , 'better' version of bb cream)

so, what you can see from the Chanel cc cream packaging..
COMPLETE CORRECTION .

I don't wear foundation everyday.
but looking pale and tired is so horrible because I need to work from Monday and Friday..
and the pale , white paper look-alike face is freaked out my colleagues.

so, I been using Chanel cc cream about a month. So, it is nice to be use?
definitely a YES from me.
what's make it became my new love??

Pros:
1.) brightens my skin (hence, more photogenic)
2.) pleasant smell ( smell super wonderful and cheer up my mood)
3.) softer and lighter texture (comparing with korea brand start with "e")
4.) not greasy !!!! (especially me with combination skin )
5.) offer SPF 30 / PA++ (most of the bb cream contain SPF 10/15.)
6.) SUPER GREAT lasting power !!! (in my case, I went out for whole day, and my face still looks gorgeous)

Cons:
1.) only one shade (20 beige)
about this issue, it's not a big deal to me as 20 beige is match perfectly with my skin tone.
2.) pricey (because it attach with the brand name CHANEL)

so, the before from the top ,
and "after" from the bottom.

5.) same smiling angle.

no primer before I applying CHANEL cc cream, no concealer , not even toner/ serum.
my face looks more even, brighter and smoother.

so, worth that price tag??

DIPTYQUE

I was in a super stress mode recently..

brain is about to explode and.. I can't even breath smoothly.

in order to relax my cell, I did spend some time to googling in the web

.... " how to distress ... " wtf

 

so, I think aromatherapy is not bad at all.

at least nice scents did cheer me a bit.

 

one fine day.. well, after work in fact.

me and JA went to pavilion to have a walk.

distress mah ~ super stress after work.

 

and , i was thinking ..

scented candles are worth to have a try.

( i tried lampe berger , and i really love it.

but the diffuser and essential oil is too pricey. )

 

and this DIPTYQUE catches my attention.

( it still pricey in fact)

 

anyhow, after discuss with the super nice consultant from diptyque,

i bought 2 scented candles.

1 from fruity : BAIES

1 from woody :SANTAL.

 

meet my elder son : FRENCH FRIES . haha!!! it's like a gift for him ! cute max.

and youngest son : LONG LONG .

 

BAIES is the most popular scents i could say .

it filled of gorgeous fruity and floral scent of blackcurrant and Bulgarian rose.

For the first time luxury candle buyer,

 it is very approachable and well liked by many.

 

Since i more prefer WOODY scents than floral , herbal / spicy.

SANTAL is strongly recommended from the sales person.

so, will i purchase it again?

definitely yes, even it's quite pricey.

but i think it worth that price tag.

laneige white plus renew original essence

so, I received this thingy when I reached home about end of feb 2013.
first thing popped out from my mind was:
"hmn.. not gotta buy it.. what's make this so special??"
(am not really a Laneige fans)

so, I just left it on my make up table.. and .. this piece of paper just gone out of my mind.
but miracle just happens when I insomnia again..
I starting to find something to read since I cnt sleep, and ~~
when I started to read " I called it -- this piece of paper"..

the 3 facts about LANEIGE WHITE PLUS RENEW ORIGINAL ESSENCE just catched my eye and my brain + heart tell me : hey Alicia, try it !!! =P

and~ tala !!!

I really bought it home.
and, of course I used it.
(Available in store starting 1 March 2013)

every products have their own way to be use .
so, that's why there is a thing call : instructions. (lame joke)
okey, this professional 'instruction' was steal from Laneige official website.
SO~ just apply the original essence on the cheeks, forehead , nose, lips and neck and gently press with palms for penetration.

this original essence is so different with others products I'm using
(currently using L'Occitane Immortelle Precious Serum which is focus on anti-aging)
but Laneige original essence focus on whitening (so obvious ok?? lol)
and the 6 FUNCTIONS mentioned on --> that piece of paper , I called it..
(dear parkson, as your elite card members. im not really means to insult, but the quality of that piece of paper can be better . lol)

• luster
• moisture
• brightness
• evens skin tone
• slows melanin rate
• reduces dullness

so, I'm been using it for 2 weeks.
and.. be frank. my skin really looks brighter , more radiance on my skin, AND !! EVENS SKIN TONE!!!

BUT .. what I'm not really like about this products is ..
( I'm comparing it with L'Occitane Immortelle Precious Serum)

1.) the absorption is not rapid as I thought. 
the essence just like staying on my face. yes!! staying !!! just like you applying foundation.
so I need to wait about a minute?? it's actually not a big deal . lol
2.) the scents . some blogger did recommend the scents is nice.
but it is just not as nice as what I used previously
(you know , the L brand I mentioned above known because of their lovely scents)
3.) the bottle make the brand looks cheap. so plastic =(

okay, it is still great to be use.
and the result is so obvious even I just use it for 2 week.
* so sorry for not posting the before and after comparison , because I was having some hormone imbalance issue these month. and some ance popped out , and acne scar is just so obvious on my face. *

but this original essence did made a great job on reduces my dark spot and acne scar.
totally not regret of bought it home.  =)

china - 石塘桥

石塘桥.
太久没用中文打字了。很不习惯的说。
去年到中国时，最喜欢的地方之一。。
该怎么说，那是一种超级悠闲的感觉，感觉地方好漂亮，
感觉心情超棒。

原先的石塘桥不是这样的，它是沟通长广溪东西的交通要道。
石塘桥的记载，最早见于1341年 -1370年的无锡县志，“石塘桥，跨石塘并属扬名乡”。

至于过后，石塘桥原来还有过非常长的历史。
感觉上它的“身世”并不简单。

china - wuxi

and, I like bronze sculpture design.. yeah, don't ask me why.
everyone have their different kinds of.. hmn.. preference .. =.=
so, I like Buddha statue..
(omg .. what a epic theory ~)

however, talking about the Buddha statue in the china,
I did made a visit to Grand Buddha @ Ling Shan. (wuxi)
its 88 metres high . weighing over 700 tons.
personally love this statue because it just looks shooo huge infront of me.
super impressive

if you really have a chance and willing to walk far .
visit to the Lingshan Buddhist Palace is just so worth after you went to Grand Buddha statue.
it is not far away from Grand Buddha statue, and locates right on the foot of Lingshan Mountain.
ok.. some facts here for general knowledge of Lingshan Buddhist Palace.
total construction area: 70 k square meters, 18 meters deep.
magnificent structure: 3 layers , decorates with 5 tower-shaped topping.
so, you know, it is just like a palace.
super grand breathtaking design.

china - suzhou

so, I was cleaning up my room and found my digitals camera memory card ..
and I just realized.. oh my. I missed the holidays I spent in china last year.
headed to china around oct 2012 was a great holidays for me as I treated it as my pre-23 birthday present I gave myself and mummy.

I posted all the pictures in my fb but thinks its not a bad ideas to post it here ..
hmn.. (since I was not blogging since mac 2012 until .. yea , recently ~ )

so, went to few places in mainland.. serious.. not just few. I think its 7 - 8 towns in 8 days..
it's quite tiring as I need to move from hotel to hotel every single day.. okay, except the 2 days in shanghai.. but china its really pretty and I just love the 3 thousand years' culture of this gorgeous country.

ok, back to the main point.
will post it town by town..
firstly, the SUZHOU .. 苏州. is the major city located at the southeast part of eastern china.
if anyone went to Suzhou, you will definitely know, Suzhou is famous of its classical garden.
yea yea, GARDEN ..  a super classical style normally we can only found it .. well, china movie.. the old ancient.. kingdom .. boring.. typical china movie (im so sorry)

and I went to LION GROVE GARDEN .. built in 1342.. oh my!! where am I during 1342???

yea, seems familiar huh? only if you watch china movie =)

bat means "福" , refers to fourtune.  but for me ? super cute creature !!

this byobu is made by silk.. and the drawing can seem from both side!! super intelligent creation.

I only can say. its too bad as its not the season of blossom.

but its still looks super cool huh? living in such..

so, is it .. believe, just SIMPLY walk around the garden will make you feel extremely fatigue. it's too huge. super huge.
but its really worth to see, its inspiring me of.. yea, my future house design..
